Selecting an accounting software package
We work with you to find a suitable package that will support all your needs, considering your specific requirements including factors such as:
- Your area of business (for example, a retail shop will have different requirements from a farming or manufacturing enterprise)
- The size of your business and complexity of transactions
- The number of users who need access to the system
- Your technical expertise
- How much information you would like to gain from the system - e.g. costings for individual jobs or monthly management accounts
- Integration with other systems such as payroll software or garage management systems
Implementing your software
Once we have helped you to decide which package is most suitable, we will source and supply the product. Our experienced IT team will then install and set up the system to your requirements, including preparation of pro-forma reports. Full training is offered to you and your staff and we provide unlimited back up and support over the phone, via email or in person.
Support services once your software is in place
Once your system is up and running, we can support you with a full data entry and review service, whether you would like us to check your returns before they are sent to HMRC, need temporary book-keeping cover or would like us to prepare your management accounts. At year end, we will use the computerised records as a basis for the annual financial statements. We send adjusting journals so that your records reflect the final accounts and, if necessary, we can assist in the closing down of the year end on your system and clear out unwanted information.
