Jilly Watson

Jilly joined Simpkins Edwards in Barnstaple in December 2009.  Her formal qualifications include an Accountancy degree gained at Exeter University, followed by five years with Deloitte Haskins and Sells in Southampton, during which time she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. 
Jilly comes from a background of general practice having spent ten years as a partner in the New Forest where her core clients were from the owner-managed business sector.  Prior to being in practice, she spent some years working in industry, assisting small and medium sized businesses.  Her experiences gained from being involved with this sector on both sides of the fence, have given her a particular empathy with businesses and their owners.

And another thing:   When she is not helping out on their smallholding in North Devon, Jilly has taken up riding.  Also as a keen gardener, she has a long term project to bring a neglected garden under control with an emphasis on planting bee friendly plants for her husband’s bees.
