Jon House

Jon is based at our Holsworthy office, having transferred there from our Exeter branch in 1985.  He joined Simpkins Edwards as a young lad straight from higher education in 1979 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1983.

As you would expect from the location of the office, Jon deals with all the different types of businesses you would associate with agriculture and a country practice such as farmers, agricultural contractors, machinery suppliers, hauliers, vets and auctioneers.  
These provide a varied mixture of trading bases for Jon from the sole trader up to the larger partnerships and small to medium sized companies.

And another thing…
Jon is interested in most sports – although his own prowess only extends to skittles and as a maximum handicap occasional golfer.
