Enchanted House Beds Ltd, a specialist in bespoke beds and mattresses, launched in August 2014. Set up by managing director Stuart Cann and his co-directors, the business prides itself on using locally sourced, pure hand-teased wool to make luxury mattresses. Beds are made to order for local retail customers and third party retailers under their own labels, in what has developed as a growing wholesale side of the business.

Stuart, alongside fellow directors Wayne Bird and finance director Jon Dufty, turned to Simpkins Edwards to help set up the business. Having trained as an accountant with the firm himself, Jon knew the quality of advice and guidance that his management team could access.

Since setting up the business, Enchanted House Beds Ltd has gone from strength to strength expanding their Okehampton-based factory space by one third.
