Key diversity statistics (as at 31 March 2019)

The ICAEW requires us to publish summarised diversity data about the profile of our workforce, as a result of our authorisation to undertake non-contentious probate work under firm number C00 2500802.

During March 2019 we asked all our partners and staff to complete, anonymously, a diversity survey. As it was non-mandatory, the results may not be a complete representation of the firm’s profile but 75% of the 102 people who were sent the survey did respond.

The respondents come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds; 86% of partners and staff attended a UK non-fee paying, state, school between the ages of 11 and 18 and 40% went to university to study a BA, BSc course or higher, three quarters of whom were part of the first generation of their family to do so.

The ethnicity, faith, disability and carer responsibility statistics for the firm are broadly in line with the demographic profile of Devon, as a whole, which represents our primary client base location.

We feel well able to understand the wider-ranging needs of our whole client portfolio, which comprehend a multitude of locational, inclusivity and diversity issues.
