Jonathan Hayes
Jonathan grew up in a farming family and has 30 odd years of personal farming experience (both in Devon and elsewhere), bringing a good understanding of the day to day issues facing farmers and small businesses generally.
He has specialised for the last 20 years in tax and accounting for farms and rural property businesses. In this role, he has accumulated considerable exposure to capital, as well as income taxes.
Jonathan has a First Class degree in Accountancy from Exeter University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
And another thing…
Jonathan is immensely practical outside work. He claims to have probably the best collection in Exeter of ex-farming DIY tools.
