Lorraine joined Simpkins Edwards in 2020 and has over 20 years’ experience in Accountancy and Payroll. She manages our payroll team based across all our office locations.
She works closely with all other departments making sure the payroll team provide an accurate and timely service in line with current legislation, whilst planning for future legislation changes. She has experience with various software implementation and processing including SAGE 50 Payroll, SAGE Cloud Payroll, HMRC Basic Tools, Moneysoft, Xero and QuickBooks.
During Lorraine’s time in Payroll, she has moved from Manual Tax/NI/ End of Year calculations to online submission and overseen the introduction of HMRC Real Time Information submissions, Auto Enrolment of Pensions and is currently planning for the payrolling of benefits.

Outside of work, Lorraine sings in local choirs and can be found driving classic cars when the weather allows!
