Simpkins Edwards are pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Hesketh as Corporate Tax Partner. Michael brings with him more than 20 years of UK tax compliance and advisory experience, with a particular focus on supporting entrepreneurial and owner-managed businesses.
A Chartered Tax Advisor, Michael joins the partnership working from our Exeter and Barnstaple offices. Over the course of his career, he has developed deep expertise in succession and exit planning, transaction tax structuring and M&A support, cross-border transactions, reorganisations, and general corporation tax compliance. He has provided commercially focused tax advice to businesses of all shapes and sizes – from start-ups and SMEs through to multinational and listed entities.
Before joining Simpkins Edwards, Michael led tax advisory services for a national firm in the West Country, building a strong understanding of the region and the businesses within it.
